Operator Duties

• Plow truck-operate a single axle dump truck with plow and salter.
• Loaders-operate wheel/skid loaders with snow pusher, plow blade or rotary broom.
• All operators must be able to read and interpret maps and route sheets.

We offer three available work options:

• 24/7 availability (whenever it snows.)
• Partial availability (we will work around your other work schedule, etc.)
• Backup/Reserve list (we will call you during a large event or we need extra help.)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment – operate equipment to diagnose problems, inspect equipment for defects
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozer, etc. (Case, Deere, Volvo, Komatsu, Liebherr) and medium duty snowplow trucks, snowplows and salters
• Ability to work through potential unexpected equipment failure situations
• Knowledge of construction equipment maintenance
• Experience in heavy equipment repairs and diagnostics
• Experience working with hydraulics and electrical systems
• Ability to follow procedures and managerial direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Class A or B CDL license is preferred with a Clean Driving Record
• This is a full-time position with overtime available

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Our team is looking to work with companies that have trucks, skid steers, wheel loaders, or other equipment which could be used to plow snow. We have had great success working with contractors to keep their people and equipment generating income during the winter months. Snow removal subcontractors will work with Snow Patrol to safely and effectively clear snow and provide ice management for our mid to high end commercial, medical facilities and retail clients parking lots, streets and sidewalks throughout the snow season.

We can work around your work or school schedule. Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone. Most of the shoveling will happen during the night. Great opportunity for college students or a second part time job to make some good wages. Incentive at the end of season for perfect attendance.
